New Hometown 04:25
Savage days quick as they come as quickly they’re gone no time to stay where have you gone? Melt the winter ice to rain on foreign doorsteps Just a phase? or is it all something that stays with you for long? where have I come? made myself a bit less tame put a face to my name Feather out gracefully don’t be shy Weave a new bag of tricks head up high This is our new hometown a little while away Welcome to our new hometown the odd life City stones splash in the pond silence they crave novelty frays comfortable tears to send us on a ship that sways in no direction Arctic winds will freeze your feet step inside This is our new hometown a little while away Welcome to our new hometown the odd life

Got a feeling it’s time to stop, not time to go Don’t wanna stand in this line anymore I find it hard to pay attention when I’m looking at you I just missed what you said Curtains drawn, I’m wrong to go to bed Strong like the substance I’m a marionette Your outfit is so distracting when you dance that way I’ve got nothing to say Why am I losing focus? This joke is getting older than you I need a chemical friend to lend a hand with my chores While you’re making conversation; I’m trying not to feel insecure Time-wise, I can do with you. Keep your bed unmade and your laces neatly tied it’s a temperamental shift that sinks in side to side Your hesitation will make you more inclined but don’t worry you’re fine is there a line? Why am I losing focus? This joke is getting older than you I need a chemical friend to lend a hand with my chores While you’re making conversation; I’m trying not to feel insecure Time-wise, I can do with you.

Hover 03:23
Not being watched, so why stand still? What reaction am I waiting for? A chance to taste the water before I drink My patience thins but no one knows. Hover Over metropolis sprawls left with nothing at all Hover I’m a mouse in a trap I can’t go back Can’t clean the slate with tainted rags Awake to thoughts from yesterday Ignoring urges only lets them escape Hover Over metropolis sprawls left with nothing at all Hover I’m a mouse in a trap I can’t go back Hover Over metropolis sprawls left with nothing at all Hover I’m a mouse in a trap Caught by these rats

Drown 05:53
Stick around a little longer Don’t you want to see the paint dry? I strayed away but I’ve come back now My white walls need the colour of your skin again Oh no When I breathe it doesn’t fill my lungs My stone eyes can’t even see the shore I float on this pedestal that drags me down with a platform of defective common sense Laughing aloud I try to flood my clouded mind I’m home but I slipped in the drink and I don’t expect you to stay and watch me drown No I don’t expect you to stay and watch me drown Don’t come in here I can’t have them seeing me like this I need time to process can’t be fine when you insist Don’t lift me out I’m in my therapeutic haze It’s a mess that pain(t) can cover we’ll just have to wait Stick around a little longer Don’t you want to see the paint dry?

All these old accomplishments they told me just imagine. Don’t be so reversible. We all leave our footprints in the freshly formed dust. Shall I cage the circumstance with eyelids glued together? I’ll feed hungry animals even though the signs instruct me not to, not to. So lonesome that you can’t tag along (wait) It’s only a slight when I am wrong (hey) On foot in the hallway My head, hasn’t burst yet All these hollow words Never follow through My feet stuck just underneath this quicksand and it holds me in place. I'm sinking so don't wait up for me. I'll come out and get a grip just when I want to. Inertia’s a word that comes to mind (wait/weight) When nothing’s been done in quite some time (hey) On foot in the hallway My head, hasn’t burst yet All these hollow words Never follow through

Last Laugh 03:54
It’s only there when you’re by yourself and you’re by yourself a lot in your own head Please take advantage of the time it spends to keep you feeling warm At night you lie awake a while Searching for a way to smile at it It doesn’t give a shit Make yourself an offer and refuse it every time No one recognized the closed doors read between the lines Sometimes you wish it wasn’t over Searching for a way to smile at it Wish I didn’t give a shit Who got the last laugh? It’s hard to tell So hard to tell And after all’s been said and done the laughter’s all you’ve won

Sit Down 04:25
crusty eyed, late night morning sunrise tongue-tied subway ride sore thighs They told me time flies and while I wasn’t looking It flew right by and stole all of my feathers and turned them into armor and punched me in the mouth and said don’t let nobody harm you it’s alarming when it wakes you at 6.30 in the morning throws you out the door you want to ask for more But still, it feels like you were born yesterday and your shackles weigh a ton and your ears are getting tired. Strings are loosely wrapped around your neck. For now they feel like down But they’re slowly getting tighter. Woke up at a pace I didn’t recognize Bound by haste I groped the walls to keep my place wait, have I been here before? Take time, reasons to be defined blurred line, summer high grey walls no catcher with your rye I just got off the tit You tell me not to cry Outside I can hear the needles of the drops of rain Sewing the street to the sky with their threads of water and dark And still, it feels like you were born yesterday still your shackles weigh a ton and your ears have gotten tired. Strings are loosely wrapped around your neck. For now they feel like down But they’re slowly getting tighter.
